Writing College Papers in a Swift
Submitted by katherinehobbs on January 13, 2009 - 9:30pm.
When writing college papers, people always find it difficult to determine the length of time they need to spend on writing and researching. Even if they have dedicated one day solely for writing, they sometimes end up staring at a blank monitor or just find themselves doing something else. If you are a student, you probably know the feeling of burning that midnight oil just to beat the deadline of your custom paper. If you are a magazine or newspaper contributor, you understand that there is absolutely no other option than to email your write-up on time – or else, you might lose your source of living. Worse, you will put your name in disgrace. The key in writing custom papers in a swift is through practice writing – time pressured practice writing. Through time limited practices, you will be able to generate impressive ideas that you can use in whatever writing task you need to accomplish. To help you attain a valuable paper in such a short time span, read and apply these following tips: 1. Give Yourself a Deadline. The importance of having your own deadline in writing your custom papers is to refrain yourself from procrastinating. Most students cram because they prioritize other things and ignore writing tasks assigned to them. If your paper is due in a week, try to finish it two days before the actual set date. 2. Write in the Morning People complain that it is difficult to write in the morning, especially when they just have woken up. However, this serves as a perfect time to energize those quiescent creative juices. Try a 15-minute challenge and assess the quality and length of sentences you have written for your custom paper and then try to beat your performance for the following days. 3. Leave for a Much Awaited Retreat Newspapers and magazines always look for fresh contents from their writers and it is always a challenge for these writers to find an untapped topic. If you plan to go on a retreat just by yourself, carry along a handy companion – the pen and paper tandem. Experiencing a different place and taking a closer look at others’ cultural and religious heritage can help you write unique topics for your custom papers. Try to visit a cultural place and immediately write within an hour your experience for the day. 4. Write During Your Idle Time Your idle moment serves as a perfect time for you to write your custom papers. Instead of just day dreaming and endlessly fabricating stories in your mind, begin writing your paper. Write whenever possible. When a ten-minute commercial break infuriates you, use that amount of time to write. 5. Extreme Time Pressured Writing If you think you have the energy and the determination to write in a time pressured situation, try writing a novel in a month through the National Novel Writing Month in November. This is an outlet for aspiring writers who does not have literary agents but would love to express their imagination and creativity through a 175-paged novel done in just 30 days. »
