Two senior English majors will be presenting at the next Dean’s Scholars Series, set for Monday, Oct. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Fireplace Room in Burrage Library.
Both will be discussing papers they presented at the Michigan Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters last March. “A Main Character’s Love for Language Displayed in Contemporary Literature” was written by Jessica Doster and “Going, Going, Gone: Understanding Evil and the Unset Definition” by Heather Kennedy.
The series began last year, and features students and faculty in presentations held throughout the semester.
The next presentation is set for Nov. 12. "Integrating Baseball" will be presented by Professor Emeritus Don Walker.
