The Olivet College Music Program, along with Humanities Department students, presented a concert of patriotic music and dramatic readings on Nov. 11.
The concert was held in the Olivet Congregational Church, with about 40 people in the audience, including three area veterans, recognized with applause during the program.
Conductor Jeremy Duby led the Olivet College Wind Ensemble in five patriotic songs, accompanied by readings, including the Gettysburg Address, performed by 10 students, coordinated by Professor Arthur Williams.
The program included pieces such as "The Blue and the Gray," and "God Bless America."
