College students today are always on the lookout for applications that make life easier, keep them organized, and offer entertainment. Here are three apps to consider as a college student:
1. Tody: An Easy Method to Clean Easily
It can be difficult maintaining your apartment, shared living room, or dorm room when there is work, classes, and homework.
According to the Tody website, the app "works well as a to-do list for staying clean, provides a custom cleaning schedule and reminders, and an easy interface makes planning chores a breeze.”
Tody is particularly beneficial for "students who have little time for tidying since they have a busy lifestyle, roommates who wish for a tidy living room in order not to have conflicts, and anyone who desires a stress-free, well-organized home," according to Tody's website.
With Tody, you can "say your last goodbye to last-minute frantically cleaning" and keep your home in perfect shape.
2. Upside: Earn Money Back on Your Everyday Needs
Managing money in school is difficult due to the rising costs of gas, groceries, and food. According to the cash-back app Upside, "Upside rewards you for cash. Your cash can go in a bank account, PayPal, or you can spend this cash back in stores such as Amazon, Starbucks, and Walmart.”
The app provides excellent cash-back returns, such as "8% cash back on meals, 5% cash back on grocery stores, 12% cashback on gas stations, and 10 cents off a gallon of gas.”
Kaylee Byrnes, sophomore, said, "I like that I can save money and transfer it to my bank account or to a gift card. However, I dislike that you only get a 30-minute window to claim your savings, because oftentimes I forget while I'm pumping gas but remember once I get to my destination. So far, I have saved $15. I also appreciate that they have made it possible to use the app at some restaurants now."
According to Ted Rossman of Bankrate, "Upside is a great way to save on everyday purchases, but the limited window to claim rewards can be a drawback.”
3. Elevate: Become Better and Grow by Enjoying Yourself
Studying can be enjoyable, and there is nothing quite like Elevate to make it fun.
According to the homepage of Elevate, the app "turns learning into a game in an effort to make learning engaging and fun.” Elevate provides "quick exercises for improving focus, memory recall, math, etc." and makes "learning a blast using challenging exercises and engaging games.”
The app also watches for you to see if you are improving and adjusts its content accordingly. According to the app's blog, Elevate is perfect for "students who want to think better and have fun, workers who want to accomplish more, and lifelong learners who want learning to be a pleasure.”
By adapting to individual progress, Elevate ensures that users remain challenged and motivated throughout their learning journey. As a result, it not only fosters a love for learning but also empowers users to achieve their personal and academic goals with ease and enthusiasm.
