Student Life and the Health and Wellness Center have teamed up and are hosting a creative arts visual contest to go along with their AIDS/HIV awareness day, which happened on Wednesday Nov. 2, 2022 in the Health and Wellness Center. According to a flier and an email from Jason Meadows, in order to participate, you need to make and submit your best TikTok with a visual message, rap, song, skit, or any other creative idea that you have about. The theme this year and for the contest is, “Not knowing is scary. Be aware. Get tested.“ They want to help spread awareness and information about HIV and AIDS. All submissions must follow the OC Compact and its rules.
The contest is between Oct. 28 and Nov. 8. You must submit your video to health@olivetcollege.edu before 11PM on Nov. 8.
If you have any questions, email health@olivetcollege.edu or talk to Jason Meadows.
People will vote for the winners on the OC app. The winners will be announced on Friday, Nov. 11. First place will get $100, second place will get $75, and third place will get $25.
