The unofficial election results from the Nov. 2 election have been released on the Eaton County website. The city of Olivet has three main results to take note of.
Laura Barlond-Mass has been re-elected to the office of mayor of the City of Olivet with 59.06% of the votes, equating to 75 votes. Contender, Pamela Steward-Bess finished with 40.94% of the votes, equating to 52 votes.
The vote for new council members resulted in James Frohm and Gary L. Peterson receiving 42.17% and 57.83% of the votes, respectively.
The position of council member with a partial term ending was swept by Donald E. Walker with 100% of the votes.
Overall, 7,748 ballots were cast out of the total 39,627 total registered voters in Eaton County.
