Wednesday, April 3
Albion College vs. The University of Olivet.
The University of Olivet baseball team won against Albion 13-3 on Wednesday, April 3. Junior Ethan VanLannen tied the game at the bottom of the third inning, leading to freshman Jack Friesen scoring a run to pull ahead of Albion in the same inning. Then in the bottom of the sixth inning, Olivet creates an even larger lead, bringing the score to 6-1 before Albion gets two runs at the top of the seventh, making the score 6-3. Olivet more than doubled their lead two innings later, making the final score 13-3.
Game Leaders:
Sophomore Braden Abbott went 2-4 with an RBI and scored twice.
Sophomore Nathan Droste pitched seven innings with three strikeouts and only three earned runs.
Friday, April 5
Adrian College vs. The University of Olivet
Adrian College won their game against The University of Olivet, 10-0. They scored twice in the first inning, three times in the third, three times in the seventh, and once in the eighth inning to round out the game. The Comets did not score.
Saturday, April 6
The University of Olivet at Adrian College
Game 1
In their first game at Adrian College, The University of Olivet lost 15-1. Adrian College scored once in the bottom of the first, and the Comets tied the game at the top of the second inning. This run was scored by junior Mason Cook. Adrian College pulled ahead again in the bottom of the fourth inning before steadily increasing their lead through the rest of the game.
Game Leaders:
Cook went 2-3 with an RBI and scored.
Game 2
In their second game, The University of Olivet started the game against Adrian College with a run from junior Mason Cook in the top of the second inning. Adrian College tied the game in the bottom of the second, before scoring eight more runs, making the score at the end of the second inning 9-1. Adrian College scored six more runs through the course of the game, leaving the final score at 15-1.
Game Leaders:
Junior Brendan Monroe went 1-3 with an RBI.
Cook went 1-2 with a walk and scored.
Women’s Tennis
Friday, April 5
In the nine matches Albion College played against The University of Olivet, Albion won all of them, leaving the final score at 9-0.

Saturday, April 6
Albion College vs. The University of Olivet
The University of Olivet won two matches against Albion, making the final score 7-2. In a double’s match, sophomore Ryan Ganger and freshman Austin Whitney won 8-7, and in a single’s match, freshman Lucas Anderson won 6-1 and 6-2.

Olivet Triangular
In the Olivet Triangular against Cleary University and Adrian College, the Comets took first place with 129 points.
Event Leaders:
Junior London Eldridge, senior Alex DeVault, junior Morgan Jeffries, and senior Lily Connelly took first in the 100-meter relay.
Junior Emily Norkowski took first in the 100-meter hurdles.
Senior Lily Connelly took first in the 400-meter run.
Junior Morgan Jeffries took first place in the 100-meter run and in the 200-meter run.
Freshman Aubrey Connelly, senior Lily Connelly, senior Tonya Tepin, and senior Allyson Stevens took first in the 400-meter relay.
Senior Allyson Stevens took first in the high jump.
Freshman Ellie Baynes took first in the triple jump.
Freshman Alyson Senish took first in javelin.
Junior Berniah Alexander took first in shot put.

In the Olivet Triangular, The University of Olivet men’s track and field team took first against Cleary University and Adrian College with a total of 135 points.

Senior Chris Davis took first in the 800-meter run.
Senior Jordon Brown took first in the 200-meter run.
Freshman DeVondre Chandler took first in the high jump.
Sophomore Charles Goldman took first in the triple jump.

The University of Olivet at Hope College
Game 1
In the five-inning game, The University of Olivet was unable to score against Hope College. The final score, 15-0, in favor of Hope.
Game 2
In their second game against Hope College, the Comets did not score. In the five innings that the game lasted, Hope scored half of their runs in the top of the first, and the other half in the top of the second inning. The final score was 12-0, Hope College.
Men’s Volleyball
Friday, April 5
Wabash College vs. The University of Olivet
The Men's volleyball team lost the match 3-1. The first set resulted in a score of 25-21, and the second set ended with a score of 25-19 with both sets going to Wabash. The University of Olivet won in the third set with a score of 32-30. Wabash won the last set with a score of 25-20.
Match Leaders:
Senior Deontay Thomas recorded 12 kills and 11 digs.
Senior Quinn Dickerson recorded 16 kills.
Saturday, April 6
Fontbonne University vs. The University of Olivet
The University of Olivet lost all three sets to Fontbonne University, making the final score 3-0. The first set ended with a score of 25-21, the second set ended with a score of 25-18, and the final set’s final score was 25-21.
Match Leaders:
Thomas recorded nine kills and nine digs.
Senior Kai Hartman recorded eight kills.
Dickerson recorded nine kills.
Women’s Golf
Saturday, April 6
The University of Olivet women’s golf team came in first of four teams in Illinois on Saturday, with a total stroke total of 353. The top player overall was Olivet sophomore Ella LaMothe with a score of 83 followed by senior Rayna Honsowitz in fourth with a score of 86.
Other Scores:
Senior Rayna Honsowitz scored an 86.
Junior Rylee Honsowitz scored a 91.
Freshman Breanna Ramos scored a 93.
Sophomore Sedona Bonter scored a 97.
Stunt
Saturday, April 6
The University of Olivet vs. St. Elizabeth, NJ
The University of Olivet competed against St. Elizabeth, NJ in Ohio on Saturday, resulting in a University of Olivet victory with a score of 6-2.
The University of Olivet vs. Mercyhurst, PA
Also on Saturday, the Comets competed against Mercyhurst, PA, resulting in a score of 15-0, with victory going to Mercyhurst.
