The University of Olivet’s SGA (Student Government Association) hosted a capture the flag game on Blair Hall's lawn at 7 p.m. for a fun homecoming activity.

“The game was fun and got more intense while I was watching,” said freshman football player Charlie Pollard. Charlie wasn't playing because he said that he didn’t want to risk any injury before the big homecoming game against Kalamazoo College Saturday at 2pm.

There were 2 teams, a red team and a blue team. At the beginning of the event, each team had 8 to 10 people but that quickly increased when people started joining in later.

The objective of the game was to get the opposite team's flag to the other side of the field. There were 5 games in total and the red team came out with the win by the end of all 5 games. The red team had won 3 games, and the blue team had won twice.

“I’m just glad that I came at the right time,” said Freshman football player Lazarus Barbour. He came at the last game to give the red team a game-winning flag catch.

At the end of the event SGA said, “we want to thank everyone for coming out to play our capture the flag game.”
